Year End Assessment Tests
With the arrival of warmer weather and the end of the school year fast approaching, another annual event comes along. During the next couple of weeks, Gallimore students will be taking Year-end Assessment tests. This can be stressful for some students and may cause symptoms of tummy aches and headaches.
Fun Fair Volunteers Needed
Gallimore's annual Fun Fair will be held on Thursday, May 24th and the PTO is in need of volunteers. Parents are needed to supervise classroom games, Please check with your child's teacher or classroom chairperson. Donations are also needed for the Pop Toss and Cake Walk. Kindergarten through 2nd grades are asked to donate 2 liter bottles of soda pop.
Field Day is June 5th
Gallimore's Field Day is scheduled for June 5th (rain date June 6th). The morning session will run from 9:00-11:00 a.m with AM Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grades participating. The afternoon session will run from 1:15-3:15 p.m. with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades participating.
Extended Day Program Now Accepting Request Forms
The Extended Day Program will be holding a lottery for the Kids’ Time and Club Connection programs for the 2012-2013 school year. In the past, available spots were filled on a first come, first serve basis.
